Okinawa: Ikeijima Island Day Trip

Panoramic view of Miyagijima from old Ikei Primary School

Recently, I went through Mid-Sea Road to travel to Ikeijima, one of the furthermost (if not THE most) remote island you can go by car from Okinawa Honto (main island), in Uruma City. It was holding an art exhibition called Ichihanari Art Project with the neighboring islands. It was my first time to visit the island, so here’s some snaps from the day trip.

One of the art works displayed in the houses of the island. It was called “Meeting of Ghosts”.
