My fellow filmmaker and photographer Daniel Lopez made a documentary film titled “Katabui“, and it is now playing at Sakurazaka Theater in Naha. Katabui is an Okinawan term describing a sudden rainstorm in a very selective area during the summer.
The Swiss filmmaker’s documentary depicts Okinawan people and their unique culture. It even differs from the mainland Japan.
It’s a beautiful film, so check it out if you had a chance to see it!
