When you wake up in the morning, blue sky, emerald sea, and white sand spread in front of your eyes.
That was the experience I had last week here in Nakijin Village, located in the north of Okinawa Island.
Many natural beaches have been lost on the largest island in the Ryukyu archipelago, but quite a few of them still remain in Nakijin. This beach is one of them. It’s a great place for camping as well.
The water was a bit too cold, but it was refreshing to swim for half an hour especially in the hot and sunny day.
The rainy season will start soon here in Okinawa, and we will have to wait for a month or so to enjoy beaches.
